We make smart street lights but they do not react to vehicle or human presence to adjust the brightness level. The same concept can be used for traffic lights as the current inductive sensors do not detect smaller vehicles, such as motorcycles and bicycles, and even pedestrian. If you ride a bike, you’ll know the light won’t turn green for you unless it’s on a timer.
